Scandlines have launched a 2030 strategy across all business units, and as Business Development Manager one of your key responsibilities will be to ensure the successful implementation for B-t-B in close collaboration with the rest of the organization. The strategy sets the direction for Scandlines’ development as the fastest and greenest corridor connecting Scandinavia with the European continent.
As Business Development Manager, you will be driving important strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening our digital transformation, enhancing our customer approach, embedding new projects in the organization, and creating commercial value – all based on data.
We are already well underway with several strategic development projects designed to realize the great potential we see – both in relation to go-to-market, customer segmentation, and digital transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for driving several of these projects from idea and initiation to execution and implementation, in close collaboration with the entire B-t-B Sales team and relevant project teams.
The position collaborates with all parts of the organization and with our B-t-C organization, Marketing & Digital Transformation, IT, and Finance.
The role reports to the SVP Head of B-t-B Sales, and you will become part of an organization with highly skilled colleagues, a fast-paced environment, a great atmosphere, and plenty of room for initiative.
Our new Business Development Manager is motivated by supporting strategic goals and commercial initiatives, highly data-driven, and has a strong analytical mindset.
You likely bring 2–5 years of experience from a similar position within Business Development or Sales. In addition, you have:
Experience in developing and driving strategy processes – preferably in a B-t-B contextExperience working and thinking commercially, and you are confident in cross-functional collaborationExperience with structured project development and management, including project tools, ideally LEANA desire to work analytically with insights and data in your daily tasksProfessional language skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken Beyond that, you communicate clearly, drive tasks forward with high engagement, and recognize when pragmatic solutions are needed to ensure progress.
